HOLIDAY & VACATION SCHEDULE
Aunty Marni takes 3 weeks of paid vacation (mental health and sick) days every year. I will give at least one month notice for all vacation and holiday closures. Generally the following holidays are observed: New Years Eve and New Years Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Presidents Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
SICK CHILD POLICY
Sick children will not be permitted into child care to ensure the safety of the other children. Children who become ill while at child care will be made comfortable until you are notified and can come pick them up, I ask that you do so promptly. If your child displays any of the following symptoms they are considered SICK: fever, thick colored mucus coming out of the nose, eyes or mouth, cough (this is also for untreated allergies), flu, vomiting, diarrhea, or any virus that can be spread. Also please NO HEAD LICE OR FUNKY LOOKING RASHES. There is no credit for tuition if your child is out sick.
Medication administered: I am not allowed to administer non-prescription drugs IE cough syrup, tylenol, children’s aspirin, vitamins ect. If your child needs these medications chances are they are sick. I will administer medication only if it has a doctors note. All medications need to be in the original prescription bottle and in the name of the child receiving the medication. A consent form must be signed and dispensing information filled out.
